With the calendar candles you can experience the tradition of the Advent calendar in a different way and at the same time create a cosy evening atmosphere. Simply enjoy an hour of candlelight every day and watch the flickering flame until the next day's marker.

Jens Andreas Dahl Hansen founded the Hygge Lys candle factory in Copenhagen in 1950. His company quickly became one of the leading suppliers of candles in Denmark. Jens designed a beautiful, sculptural and minimalist light, which - thanks to the special shape of the base - stands firmly on the tabletop even without a candlestick: The Alterlyset candle.

The candles are now in their 4th generation of traditional production: Hand-poured from 100% pure stearin - without added colour.

Candles made from 100% pure vegetable stearin have a fine crystalline structure that begins to glow in an enchanting way in the light of the candle flame. After a while, an exciting lattice pattern appears on the outer edge of the candle.

The little house is a perfect place to get together in cosy company and take a little time out. If you wish, you can also enjoy your drink outside.

In the tent on our product ramp you will also find a wide range of candles on sale by the kilo. You can put the candles together yourself. The weight is weighed at the checkout and the candles are charged at a favourable price per kilo.
