In November & December, Myriam and Anita's team invite you to the candle café. You can expect a wide range of regional, homemade delicacies (cakes, vermicelles, soups, coffee specialities
& speciality teas...).
A Bullerjan stove creates a cosy atmosphere. The candle café is a perfect place to enjoy and be.

Live music at the Kerzencafé
From 7 November to 19 December 2026, the Kerzencafé will become a stage for local musical gems every Saturday. Look forward to an atmospheric journey through various musical genres – from pop, rock and blues to classical and evergreens, as well as Irish sounds, Italian-style music, folk music and rock ’n’ roll. Admission is free – a collection will be taken for the artists. You can find the latest line-up and performance times on our social media channels. Do pop in, enjoy the music and candlelight – and let yourself be surprised!

You will find a small coffee bar at the back of the Zughaus. You can enjoy a mulled wine, latte macchiato or chai latte in our spacious inner courtyard.
We look back fondly on the unplugged concert by "The Saint City Orchestra" at the Kerzencafé. With their rousing songs, they transformed the old Zughüsli into an Irish pub.
