Experience old craftsmanship
We have been producing candles since 1703. We would be delighted to give you an insight into this fascinating traditional craft. Welcomed by the scent of wax, you can visit our candle factory and learn lots of interesting facts about candles.
Public guided tours
In November and December, a guided tour of the factory for families and individuals starts every Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm. Among other things, two 45-year-old candle-drawing machines can be viewed.
These public tours are free of charge and last approximately 30 minutes.
Guided tours for groups of 10 or more people
If you’d like to find out more about candle-making, we warmly invite you to visit us at the Bleichehof.
We’d be delighted to show you how we make candles the traditional way.
