The particularly sustainable candle
The candles with the snow-white, crystalline shimmering surface are made from 100% olive wax, are vegan and odourless. The olive wax comes from Italy. It is obtained from the remains of olive oil production during the second pressing of the olives. The olive wax candles are a joint venture between two Swiss candle factories - Schnyder Kerzen and Hongler Kerzen. They are moulded by hand.
The raw materials for this candle are harvested in the Mediterranean region. The olive wax used is produced by pressing the olives a second time. This and the short transport routes make the candle particularly sustainable.
Candles made from 100% olive wax have a fine crystalline structure, which begins to glow in an enchanting way in the light of the candle flame. After a while, an exciting lattice pattern appears on the outer edge of the candle, making each candle unique.
In some cases, some wax may leak out of the candle. Therefore, always place it on a fireproof surface.
