Censer charcoal and accessories
This is how you can proceed if you want to burn incense at home: Place some sand on a heat-resistant surface. Place a censer charcoal upright in the sand and light it at the side. The entire tablet will soon begin to glow due to the self-ignition mechanism. As soon as a grey-white layer forms on the surface, you can turn the tablet over with the hollow facing upwards. Pour some incense into this hollow with a spoon or your fingertips. It is better if you dose carefully and top up again later. Drei Könige censer coals are characterised by a long burning time (approx. 60 minutes). Thanks to the special surface treatment, they are dust-free - hands remain clean. By far the most widely used are the quick-ignition smoke barrel coals. The charcoal can be used shortly after lighting in the censer without special heating devices. A lighter helps to light the normal coals. The heating process takes about 10 minutes.
