Round wicks
Due to their high absorbency, round wicks are particularly suitable for making beeswax candles. The running direction of the round wick must be observed. The wick fibres must point downwards in a V-shape on the flat side. Otherwise a so-called "rose" can form when burning. It is best to tie a loop when cutting the wick - this way the loop always forms the tip of the candle.
