Wicks with stand plates
Wicks with stand plates are mainly used for making tea lights, lanterns and floating candles. The stand plate prevents the wick from falling over prematurely. The wicks are usually coated with a thin layer of wax. You can also make your own wicks with stand plates by inserting a wick previously dipped in wax into a stand plate and clamping it with pliers.
