The family business Schulthess in Utzenstorf, Bern, has been manufacturing all its products 100% by hand since 1978.

Founder Theo Schulthess initially experimented on his own hob to find the right mixture. With success - the flaky wax structure turns a Schulthess candle into a glowing one-off.

These candles are also very suitable as Advent candles - whether individually in an Advent arrangement or on an Advent wreath.
